For a long-length product, choose the usable length, net hair weight, end fullness and construction together. The sample helps establish the right material and colour-processing route for that combination.

Review the physical sample across the full length, including the lower section. Confirm feasibility against the selected starting material, target colour and attachment before approving the specification.
