Confirm the starting material, target colour, previous processing and finishing used for the proposed extension. A finished light blonde shade has undergone colour processing even if the starting material was described as Virgin.
A material name does not settle the attachment requirements. Record the weft, tab or bond construction and any relevant local treatment separately from the rest of the hair. Do not infer a finishing policy or service-life guarantee from an old grade label.
Compare finished samples under one method
Use the intended colour and construction. Record initial length, net hair weight, end fullness and attachment condition, then compare washing, drying, brushing and installation observations under the same agreed conditions.
